Our parish is committed to being a community where every person is valued, included, and supported. We aim to greet all people with kindness, noticing those who may need extra help, and ensuring our worship is accessible and comfortable for all.
We have written specific guidance to help us welcome people who may have additional needs:

Our Parish is proud to be part of the network of churches called Inclusive Church. This is a network of churches, groups and individuals uniting together around the following shared vision:
“We believe in Inclusive Church – a church which celebrates and affirms every person and does not discriminate. We will continue to challenge the church where it continues to discriminate against people on grounds of disability, economic power, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, learning disability, mental health, neurodiversity, or sexuality. We believe in a Church which welcomes and serves all people in the name of Jesus Christ; which is scripturally faithful; which seeks to proclaim the Gospel afresh for each generation; and which, in the power of the Holy Spirit, allows all people to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Jesus Christ.”
As we strive to be a more inclusive parish, we have made some changes to our signage and displays, to make them more accessible. We have installed electronic doors at the side of Holy Trinity Church. We have purchased headphones for congregation members with hearing loss to use, making services more audible in our echoing worship spaces. We have cushions and blankets to keep people warm and comfortable, especially in the winter months.
We provide a safe, sacred space for specific worshipping communities such as Deaf Church and Open Table who meet once a month.
