Facility Hire

Our churches and two halls and lounge are available for hire. All buildings are used by local groups, services and other events, so please check our calendar for availability.   


Enquiries about bookings of any of our facilities should be made to the Parish Office, whereby availability can be confirmed and the hire terms and conditions provided. Rates are reviewed annually and advanced bookings will be charged at the rate applicable at the time of hire, rather than the booking. Although The Parish is accommodating to the community needs, we reserve the right to refuse a booking request made by an individual or a group.

Holy Trinity Church

Holy Trinity church is hired for musical concerts and large meetings (please check license requirements for concerts with Parish Office). 

  • Our church can seat in excess of 350 people, if stackable chairs are also brought in from the hall.
  • Most of the seating area is fixed pews.
  • The floor is stone.
  • A sound amplification system is available, with a hearing loop.
  • A small car park situated to the side of the Church entrance which belongs to the Church.  Temporary passes can be supplied by the office if heavy equipment etc needs to be carried. 
  • A larger car park at the end of the Church pathway which accommodates 51 spaces and two disabled spaces.  Parking charges apply at a certain times of the days between Monday – Saturday. 
  • Access to male & female toilets and an equal access toilet with a nappy-changing facility.
 

The Parish Centre Lounge

  • The Parish Centre has two halls, one of which is called ‘The Lounge’.
  • Our small ‘lounge’ has 20 upholstered chairs a coffee table
  • The floor is carpeted. 
  • Extra stacking chairs can be brought in from the main hall.
  • A small car park situated to the side of the Church entrance which belongs to the Church.  Temporary passes can be supplied by the office if heavy equipment etc needs to be carried. 
  • A larger car park at the end of the Church pathway which accommodates 51 spaces and two disabled spaces.  Parking charges apply at a certain times of the days between Monday – Saturday. 
  • Access to male & female toilets and an equal access toilet with a nappy-changing facility.

The Parish Centre Hall

  • The large hall can be used for a variety of things such as community events, parties, meetings and much more.
  • The capacity is approximately 80 for dining or 90 for standing buffet. The maximum number of people in the large hall should be 100.
  • A selection of collapsible rectangular tables (12 large, 5 small) and 120 stacking chairs.
  • It has a sound amplification system allowing for a loop system to be used.
  • A piano.
  • There are glazed doors to the patio and large grassed area to the south of the hall.
  • A serving hatch is located between the kitchen (if hired) and the hall allowing food and drinks to be served with ease.

The Parish Centre Kitchen

The Parish Centre has recently installed a catering-standard kitchen which can be hired out for use.  We shall require a deposit which will be refundable following your event.  Access to toilets and car parking is available with the hire.

  • Plates, cups, saucers, cutlery, water jugs, saucepans, cooking utensils, knives 

St Columba Church

The church is used for a variety of community events such as services, meetings, parties and musical events.  

  • Our church can seat 125 people with up to 40 additional people in the balcony.
  • Seating is flexible and stackable allowing the Church to be set up as required.
  • Four large tables and two smaller ones are available in the Church.
  • The floor is a hard surface with a carpeted central aisle.
  • A sound amplification system is available, with a hearing loop.
  • A small car park situated adjacent to the Church entrance which accommodates approximately 14 spaces.  There is plenty of free road side parking.
  • Access to male and female toilets is available.
Please note that if you wish to use the cloakroom and/or the kitchen facilities then you must book the Church Hall at the same time.

St Columba Hall

    • St Columba hall is separate to the church building. Please note this site is in a residential area, so late-night bookings may not be accepted. 
    • The capacity for the hall is a maximum of 50.
    • Six large collapsible tables  and 11 smaller rectangular tables are available as well as stackable chairs.
    • There is a small kitchen in the hall.
    • The floor is carpeted.
    • A large grassed area can be used on the east side of the church.
    • A small car park situated adjacent to the Church entrance which accommodates approximately 14 spaces.  There is plenty of free road side parking. 
    • Access to male & female toilets.
    • Using the fire exit includes an external step down.
